Earlier this month we featured an article on a very talented young Australian Bodyboarder, Marli Dunn, who was still ripping it up in the water even with a broken arm. So keen to get wet, Marli constructed a handhold on his board so he could keep Bodyboarding even while in plaster. We are pleased to report the cast has been removed, everything is working as it should and it has had no detrimental effect on Marli’s talents.
A new, two part video has been released of the young wizard in action again, sessioning some pretty shallow slabs and tight barrels, as well as assertively busting trick after trick on some pretty hefty lumps too. The waves around NSW and Southern Australia are proving to be quite a training ground for Marli. The 16 year old from Bateman Bay in New South Wales is certainly setting his stall out well in his search for a sponsor and the way he is going it wont be long before he’s snapped up by a major industry player.
The 5-minute clip is attached below and I feel sure you will enjoy marvelling at this young lads skill, as he has both enthusiasm and raw talent in abundance. Marli is set for greater things, and is yet another super talent emerging from the shores of Australia.
