Skimboard fans will be getting excited as the start of the 2014 United Skim Tour has got underway, with the first event going down in Sununga, Brazil on the 24th of March. This event is the first of 8 that are due to be held over the season in three different countries and Austin Keen from Laguna Beach will be defending his 2013 World Crown.
Undoubtedly the biggest and most influential Skimboarding tour, the UST will head off to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for the second leg of the competition before moving on to the Southside Shootout at Dewey Beach, USA. With visits to Laguna Beach,
The Outer Banks of North Carolina, Vilano Beach and Santa Cruz, the Skimboarding world will be excitedly waiting to witness the final event go down at the Skimming Mecca of Newport Beach later in the year.
With only 3 heats left in the first event at Sununga, Austin Keen has gone out fighting and is currently through to the semi finals where he will go up against fellow American Blair Conklin for a chance in the final. The other semi sees two Brazilians, Renato Lima Leandro Azevedo battling against each other for a crack of the title.
