Alison Teal is a girl who likes an adventure and regularly updates her YouTube channel with clips of her travels and her surfing escapades as she explores the planet. Just in time for Halloween, Alison has released her latest video, which follows her as she journeys deep into The Catacombs beneath Paris and paddles her pink surfboard in amongst the bones of 6 million people.
The Catacombs were formed when the ancient builders of Paris dug out essential stone to use in the construction of the city, but are more widely known as the worlds largest grave, with millions of bones and skulls scattering the passageways. It is certainly not a place for those of a squeamish nature or who are easily spooked and the narrow tunnels are certainly not surfboard friendly. The whole purpose of Alison’s subterranean surf seemed to be just to get about getting a picture of her in her bikini in the catacombs, and it has most definitely divided opinion in the comments beneath the video on her YouTube channel.
You can see the full clip of Alison surfing The Catacombs below and we would welcome your thoughts on this spooky surf, do you see it as disrespectful self promotion or would you like the opportunity to explore the underground cemetery on your surfboard? Trick or Treat?
