The 2016 London Surf Film Festival Shorties competition is now officially open and Ben Skinner and Chris Levi are right at the front of the queue with their submission called Tragressive Winter. The five minute short, filmed and edited by Chris, features Skindog blending traditional and progressive longboard surfing, in a style simply known as Tragressive.
In the LSSF Shortie entry below , Skindog merges drop knee turns, balletic cross stepping and elegant nose tricks with powerful 360’s, breakneck cutbacks and floaters that could easily destroy a longboard. Whether he is dancing on a playful wave at St Agnes or driving through the barrel at Leven, Skindog moves his longboard with a mix of power, ease and grace and with certainly more refinement than most people can manoeuvre a shortboard!
You can find Tragressive Winter embedded beneath this article and we would love to hear your thoughts on the London Surf Film Festival Shortie Entry.
