When the World Cup comes to an end and the legions of football fans start to leave Brazil, a band of sportsman who are much braver, paid a lot less and who get a lot less exposure will arrive to do battle at the Itacoatiara Pro. The beautiful Country of Brazil will host the second stop on the 2014 A.P.B World Tour and you will be pleased to know that Itacoatiara has been pumping.
The sand bottomed beach break has been firing and expectations are high for when the tour rolls into Rio de Janeiro on July 25th 2014 and the worlds best fight it out in the cliff surrounded arena. Amaury Lavernhe, the 2013 champion will be gunning to defend his title but this event is really going to be wide open and a tough one to call.
To get you in the mood for Itacoatiara event we have embedded a video below that has been released of a session that went down on the 21st of June and put together by Svrnafkll, it shows the spot is very much alive and kicking. The locals have got the wave dialled and we are looking forward to the Worlds best to arrive and the battles to commence.
