Jared Mell and Alex Knost are brothers from different Mothers, they share a deep bond that goes way back to their high school days and both have a love for Longboarding in which they display extraordinary skills. After meeting in the school Surf team the pair have always looked out for each other and like nothing more than hitting the waves for a playful session.
This is demonstrated perfectly in today’s featured video where the guys hit up Blackies By The Sea down in Newport with a ridiculous amount of ease and skill. Some of the moves the boys pull off don’t even seem possible and there will be moments when you will have to stop and go back to try to make sense of what you just witnessed.
Both of them ride with a very casual style but Alex in particular is so laid back he is virtually horizontal. The nose riding is impressive enough but the way both Surfers effortlessly switch their stance and 360 their boards is the highlight for me. Recorded by Ryan Donahue and edited by Vice President Sanitago, this is by far the dreamiest and coolest video you will see all day.
Let us know if you like this laid back style of Longboarding and in particular what move impressive you the most?
