Yesterday, we reported the Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau competition has been given the green light and will be taking place tomorrow, February 10th. Since then many of our followers have asked if they will be able to watch the event via a live feed, so we are pleased to be able to tell you that all the action from the Eddie will stream live, with 3 different options, so there is no excuse to miss a single piece of the action.
If you are in Hawaii you will be able to watch the Eddie Would Go unfold on Oceanic Time Warner Cable (channels 250 and 1250HD). For those spread across the globe, you will be able to get your fix at either www.quiksilver.com/eddie or via the WSL App. The Eddie gets underway at 9.30am (Pacific Standard Time) which equates to 5.30pm GMT, the perfect time for all UK fans.
After a six year wait there will no doubt be a frenzy of interest and along with a crowd of thousands expected to line Waimea Bay, surfers from every corner of the globe will be tuning in, so we would suggest you give yourself every chance to see it by downloading the WSL App here. Will you be tuning into the see the live coverage of the Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau and who do you think can go on to win the 9th ever Eddie Would Go?
