If you are born into a surfing family, it is pretty much a given that you will be pushed out into the waves at an early age and will grow to be quite a ripper. That is exactly what happened to British Surfer Reubyn Ash and is proven by the numerous competition titles he has picked up in the UK and Europe. Somewhat of an aerial assassin, Reubyn has been documenting his travel adventures in a collection of videos called The Runaway Series, and has started releasing them for public viewing.
The first clip released shows Reubyn shredding on a trip to Indonesia, the footage was captured by Reubyn’s girlfriend Jonna Kerman and his father Peter Ash. Spliced with the subliminal All Along The Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix the five-minute clip shows Reubyn in his element on perfect Indo waves and demonstrates just how good he is with his aerial tricks.
The Runaway Series will follow Reubyn at many glorious spots around the world including Portugal, California and France, and we can look forward to his exploits in Chile in the next clip. To see Reubyn in action from his 3-month stint in Bali and Sumbawa and pulling off so many impossible looking tricks, then take a look at the video below and let us know what you think of his incredible aerial prowess.
