In my mind, there are never enough Drop Knee videos out there and I am always on the look out for a new DK clip to quench my thirst. Today, my craving is satisfied by a sweet little edit of an Aussie hotshot by the name of Rory Nelson.
Rory, whose comes from the Geraldton area of Western Australia is rapidly making a name for himself and is not only the defending 2013 WA State Champion but also recently cleaned up at the SunSmart WA Bodyboard event. Web Designer, Rory is a dedicated Drop Knee rider who rides with a smooth clinical style and a lot of strength.
As I watch Rory in action, his riding style seems to have flashes of so many of the big drop knee riders who have gone before. The effortless 360 spins of Keith Sasaki, the tight and steep drop ins of Jack Lindholm and the leant forward powerful riding of Kainoa McGee. It is no wonder Rory is making progress in the competitions when you see the tricks he has at his beck and call.
The two-minute clip shot by Shaun Rose is featured below this article, let us know if you are Drop Knee fan and who do consider is the best Jack Stance rider ever?
