If any of our followers have got money burning a hole in their pockets or have had a recent lottery win and are looking for the ultimate Surfboard, there is a new board available for a mere $1.3 million, making this the most expensive Surfboard in the world and fit for a king. The handcrafted board is called The Rampant and has been shaped at The Kings Ride,by Roy Stuart who is a master craftsman and has been sculpting wooden boards since 1969.
The 10’6″ board has been a long time in the making and features a lot of detail, unique ideas and some very special finishing touches. Even the Rampant Lion logo has been outlined with red and yellow resin and then filled with gold leaf. The board also incorporates a Vort-X Tunnel Fin, that is is said to provide top speed, incredible drive and rapid acceleration.
The most expensive Surfboard in the world is made from Paulownia wood and has been shaped with a concave hull that took a few months to make, a video is embedded below showing the board in the final throws of shaping and gives an idea to the amount of time and love that has been invested in this project.
