The team at Surf Snowdonia have been touch with news that the lagoon repairs are well underway and they have announced a new partnership with Green 4 Solutions to streamline and improve the customer booking process. The Wavegarden facility had to close for the winter season eight weeks early, allowing the staff and contractors at Surf Snowdonia to overhaul the booking system, carry out lagoon repairs and to finish work on the much awaited Crash and Splash Lagoon.
The lagoon was dogged with problems in the opening few weeks and although several thousand surfers managed to enjoy the manmade waves there were unplanned shutdowns and issues with the booking systems. Apparently the motor that drives the wave mechanism is currently in Austria, undergoing modifications and should be back in Dolgarrog in January. We are also told that the new CRM software solution provided by Green 4 will give the customer the freedom to manage lagoon times, lessons, food and drink all at the same time, in one place.
Along with lagoon and system improvements there is also the news that Jo Dennison will be returning as the Head of the Surf Academy and Surf Snowdonia will be offering yoga and fitness sessions alongside various surf packages and lessons. It seems that the team have not only been addressing the teething problems but are also looking to improve the customer experience and at the time of writing are aiming to reopen the site in March.
