Swell Crate, the subscription box service aimed at the Surf market has now gone on sale and orders are being taken for the first shipping run in March. Swell Crate has been created by John Peabody and is the first subscription service that delivers surf related goodies direct to your door four times a year. The crates are filled with items for use on land or in the ocean that every surfer will appreciate.
John initially launched the Swell Crate through Kickstarter in January and although the campaign was unsuccessful, with some tweaking and a new pricing strategy he has been able to bring the idea to market and the first orders are now being taken. The Swell Crate subscription is $44 per season or if you sign up for 1 years worth of deliveries, a years subscription is $160.
The items in the Swell Crate vary each month and will always be worth more than the subscription fee and have been tested by the Swell Crate team. To keep things interesting, the exact contents of each package will be kept secret but the brands used will be revealed along with a picture of each seasons Crate.
To see more information on Swell Crate or to check out the first seasons contents or even place an order, head over to the Swell Crate website. The first subscription will be shipped in March and unfortunately for the time being, limited to the United States. We would love to hear the type of things you would like to find in your Swell Crate?
