With eyes already on next weekend and the start of The Approaching Lines International Festival of Surf in Newquay, held between 19th and 22nd of March, a teaser video has been released that gives hint to the calibre and quality of films on offer at the festival. The teaser video is packed with classy wave riding and a smorgasbord of Surfboards that will delight and leave you salty surfy seadogs wanting more.
The Lighthouse Cinema plays host to The Approaching Lines Festival and over the course of the weekend will show 3 World Premiers, 4 UK Premiers and 6 South West premiers, including the hotly anticipated movie Cluster. The director of Cluster, Kai Neville will also be on site to answer any questions you would like to put to him.
There will also be an invitational single fin Surf competition at Fistral beach and for the more energetic there will be an after party with the Upstairs Downstairs Vinyl Collective. Tickets for The Approaching Lines Festival can be bought directly from the Lighthouse Cinema and for more information on the full line up, film times and peripheral events head over to the official Approaching Lines website. I’m off to start hitch hiking to Newquay!
