Earlier this week we brought you a series of videos showing Kitesurfers getting into scrapes and wipeouts, but now we have something very different to share with you. The latest video we have found shows a crew of kiter’s that are taking the sport to a whole new level and combining it with skateboarding and flat land skimboarding.
The clip called the Dirty Lagoon involves a group of Kitesurfers from the Kite Skate Lab and it is easy to see where they have taken their name from. Although only 2 minutes long the clip is packed with high speed tricks and spills as the lads tear up the lagoon whilst strapped to the kites but are strapless on the boards.
The wipeouts are pretty full on as they get dragged across the water still attached to the kites, but the tricks when they nail them are very impressive and taken straight out of the local skatepark. The 3 Surfers Vincent Sudrat, Benoit Paillard and Alex Campet perform ollies over a bank, rail slides and shove its as well as some impressive airs.
The video is below this article, so have a look and let us know if you think this is a great new direction for the sport of Kitesurfing and what other tricks would you like to see the crew attempt?
